In 2002 the inception of Nancy’s Prevention Clinic (NPC) began. We opened our doors here at 1279 East 1st Ave. Ste. C, Chico, CA in, May 2007, introducing an innovative health care model to the community. NPC is the primary provider of this kind that provides services to a community of people living in Chico, Gridley, Orland, Willows, Corning, Hamilton City, Oroville, Paradise, Redding, Red Bluff, and other communities. These counties include urban, rural, and suburban areas. Nancy’s Prevention Clinic’s unique service allows NPC to deliver convenient, cost-effective services to many people each year.
NPC’s strong emphasis on prevention, assessment, education and clinical services has earned Nancy Bryant a reputation where she is sought out by patients referred to her. The work Nancy is doing is gaining recognition regionally for the quality of services and as a provider of effective behavioral health solutions.
The numbers alone are staggering of persons who have a serious mental illness, which includes schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, mood spectrum disorders, autisim spectrum disorders, cognitive dysfunction, and major depression. NPC’s commitment is to help each individual lead as independent and successful a life as possible.
At NPC we coordinate the referal of patients to services to help them develop the skills needed to effectively manage their mental illness, live in a safe community environment, achieve a satisfying social life, and obtain and maintain employment.
Simply put, Nancy enables patients to have a chance to live independently. Small steps forward, over the course of time, can make a big difference in the lives of the people we serve and in the health of our community.
